Enrolment and Tuition Payment Options
Melbourne Piano School offers flexible enrolment and tuition fee payment options to meet the diverse needs of our students. Most students choose to enrol in weekly lessons by the school term.
Having a regular weekly lesson is the best way to develop a foundation in piano and achieve steady progress on your musical goals. We also offer casual lessons on a pay-as-you-go basis for students who need more flexibility.
Tuition Fee Payment Options:
1) Advance Payment for the Term via EFT Transfer or Credit Card
You will receive an invoice approximately 14 days prior to the term start for all scheduled lessons in the upcoming school term. The invoice is due 7 days prior to the term start. If enrolling after the term has commenced, you will be billed only for the remaining weeks in the term.
If paying by EFT transfer, please be sure to include your surname in the transaction description. Payment by credit card can be made by clicking the link in the invoice email, or the Pay Now button on the invoice itself. There are no surcharges for credit card payments.
If your payment is not received by the due date, you will receive a reminder via email or SMS. If due to extenuating circumstances you are unable to pay the invoice on time, please contact us in advance to discuss an alternate payment plan. In the event that your payment is more than 14 days overdue and you have not contacted us about your overdue payment, a $20 late payment fee applies per month.
Please note term payments are non-refundable and any scheduling changes must be made in accordance with our studio policy.
2) Monthly Auto-Pay via Credit Card
We will auto-charge your credit card once each month on the 1st day of the month, for all scheduled lessons of that month. Your credit card details are stored securely in our booking system. You will receive a receipt via email from our booking system each time a payment is processed. There are no surcharges for using auto-pay by credit card. Monthly payments are non-refundable and any scheduling changes must be made in accordance with our studio policy.
If at any point you wish to cancel your Auto-Pay agreement, please contact us in writing with at least 5 business days notice.
If any additional lessons are scheduled during the month after a payment has been made, those lessons will be billed on the following month.
3) Pay As You Go for Casual Lessons
If you need a flexible scheduling arrangement you can take casual lessons and book and pay as you go. Please note that casual lessons are an additional $5 per lesson compared to lessons by the term and do not guarantee you a regular lesson time. Casual lessons are offered dependent on teacher availability. Payment for casual lessons is required at the time of booking.
