Jordan Riscica, Pianist & Music Educator
Jordan Riscica is an accomplished pianist who teaches students of all ages, from complete beginners to intermediate levels. He believes wholeheartedly that it’s never too late to start learning piano. Jordan teaches from his home studio in Essendon.
Having completed Grade 7 AMEB Piano with a High Distinction, Jordan has spent nearly two decades exploring a wide range of musical styles including classical, pop, and modern film scores. His teaching approach focuses on building strong foundational skills while nurturing each student’s individual musical interests and enjoyment. Jordan helps students develop a solid understanding of scales, chord functions, musical terminology, sight-reading, and theory. He encourages students to become confident and independent in their practice and supports those preparing for AMEB exams (up to Grade 3 in Classical and Leisure streams), auditions, and concerts. Lessons take place at Jordan’s home studio in Essendon, near Essendon North Primary School. He is also available for in-home lessons in the following suburbs: Aberfeldie, Ascot Vale, Avondale Heights, Braybrook, Brunswick, Brunswick West, Essendon, Essendon West, Glenroy, Gowanbrae, Keilor East, Keilor Park, Maidstone, Moonee Ponds, Niddrie, Oak Park, Pascoe Vale, Pascoe Vale South, Strathmore, Strathmore Heights, and Tullamarine. Music Qualifications AMEB Practical Piano Exams, completed Grade 7 with High Distinction AMEB Theory of Music Exams, Grade 1 - 3 VCE completed in 2020 with Dux of Music Performance Essendon Piano Tuition Fees $50 for 30 minutes $70 for 45 minutes $90 for 60 minutes In-home Piano Tuition Fees $55 for 30 minutes $75 for 45 minutes $95 for 60 minutes Above fees are for weekly lessons by the school term. Casual lessons are available on a pay-as-you-go basis for an additional $5.50 per lesson. |

Jordan Riscica teaches piano lessons on a Kawai upright piano at his home studio at 134 Roberts Street, Essendon Melbourne, 3040. He also travels to student homes to teach throughout Melbourne's western suburbs.
