Abigail Ma is a classically trained pianist dedicated to sharing the joy of music with students of all ages. She offers piano lessons from her home studio in Hopper's Crossing.
Abigail's musical journey began in childhood, where she immersed herself in bands and music studies throughout her schooling years. Now pursuing a Bachelor of Secondary Education, she brings a deep love of learning and teaching into her piano lessons. Abigail believes that learning piano is not just about mastering an instrument—it’s about discovering creativity, expression, and the joy that music brings. She enjoys working with both children and adults, guiding them through their musical development in a way that is both engaging and rewarding. While she welcomes students who simply want to play for enjoyment, she is also happy to prepare those who wish to undertake AMEB exams. With a teaching style that blends practical playing with music theory, Abigail tailors lessons to suit each student's goals, whether they are learning for personal enjoyment, exploring composition, or preparing for assessments. $45 for 30 minutes $65 for 45 minutes $85 for 60 minutes Listed fees are for ongoing weekly lessons, paid in advance by the term. Casual lessons may be offered dependent on availability and fees are an additional $5.50 per lesson.
