Eve Mugavin, Pianist & Music Educator
Eve Mugavin is a classically trained pianist and passionate music educator currently completing her Bachelor of Music at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, University of Melbourne. She offers in-home piano lessons across Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, working with students of all ages and levels.
Eve began learning piano at the age of six and has since completed AMEB Grade 8. Her musical background is rich and varied: she was awarded Dux of her VCE Music class and received the school’s Prize for Contribution to the Musical Life in 2023. Eve has also served as conductor and accompanist for choral ensembles, including directing her high school’s top auditioned choir, the Madrigals, which performed at the Victorian School Music Festival. Eve is privately tutored by internationally acclaimed pianist and educator Dr. Coady Green, and brings a strong foundation in classical technique and repertoire to her teaching. Her lessons focus on developing well-rounded musicianship, incorporating technique, sight reading, aural skills, and theory. Drawing from her own experience with the AMEB and school music programs, Eve tailors her lessons to suit each student’s needs, ensuring that learning is both structured and enjoyable. She is committed to creating a supportive and empowering environment where students can thrive musically and build confidence at the piano. Music Qualifications:
