Agnes Widjaja is a classically trained pianist and vocalist with over 20 years of performance and teaching experience. An experienced music educator, she offers both piano and voice lessons at her studio in St Kilda East.
Originally from Indonesia, Agnes achieved ABRSM Grade 8 Piano with distinction in 2015 and Grade 5 Theory in 2012. She has performed in various competitions and masterclasses, with notable guidance from Dr. Johannes Sebastian Nugroho and Yeong Huay Goh. Now based in Australia, Agnes is dedicated to providing students with a solid classical foundation, emphasising the connection between music theory and practical piano skills. Her lessons focus on developing technical proficiency, sight-reading, and ear training, while empowering students to become independent, self-aware musicians. Agnes is also a trained vocalist, having completed ABRSM Singing exams up to Grade 5. She is a member of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra Chorus and incorporates her vocal expertise into her teaching. Agnes welcomes students of all ages and levels, whether they are preparing for exams or simply enjoying music for leisure. Piano & Singing Lesson Tuition Fees: 30 minutes - $50 45 minutes - $70 60 minutes - $90 Above fees are for ongoing weekly lessons, paid in advance by the term. Casual lessons may be offered dependent on availability and fees are an additional $5.50 per lesson. |
