Benjamin Roberts is a passionate and dedicated classically trained pianist based in Melbourne. He offers in-home piano lessons for beginner to advanced students in Melbourne’s inner-northern suburbs.
Beginning his musical journey at the age of 6, Benjamin has been playing the piano for 18 years and is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Music Performance at Melbourne Conservatorium of Music under the supervision of internationally recognised Australian pianist Tristan Lee. Throughout his 18 years of training, Benjamin has a studied a wide variety of music from early Baroque to 21st century contemporary. He has developed a keen interest in 19th century composers and has built a large repertoire which includes works by composers such as Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Liszt, J.S Bach, Beethoven and Debussy. Benjamin strives for a holistic approach to music education through a wide range of music and aims to foster a deep connection between the student and their instrument. Lessons are tailored towards the student’s ability, interests and goals, whether learning piano for personal interest or preparation for AMEB exams or other academic pursuits.
