Elena Ross is a highly skilled film composer, pianist and dedicated music educator with over 10 years of experience. She now offers piano and composition lessons from Ross Studio in Collingwood.

Passionate about fostering creativity and innovation, Elena empowers students to reach their artistic and professional goals through engaging, high-quality teaching and mentorship.

As a composer, Elena has created impactful scores across a range of genres, enhancing cinematic storytelling in works such as The Lost Tiger (Universal, dir. Chantelle Murray, 2024), Black Holes Suck (Sydney Feature Film, 2024), Their American Dream (dir. Darrin McKean, 2023), and What About Sal (dir. John Jarratt, 2023).

In 2025, Elena conducted and recorded her original compositions with the Hollywood Symphony Orchestra at Warner Bros’ Eastwood Scoring Stage, building on mentorship from leading figures including George Papanicaloau, Angel Velez, Conrad Pope, and Booker White & David Giuli.

Elena’s teaching background spans music theory, harmony, piano, and voice at institutions in Belarus and Australia, including Muzshok School, Hands on Music, Melbourne Piano School, and Prestige Academy. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Musicology (Distinction, Nanjing Normal University) alongside advanced studies in pedagogy and intercultural communication (Minsk State Linguistic University).

As a performer, Elena has appeared in over 600 corporate events as a vocalist and musician, collaborating with international artists and leading high-calibre productions with creativity and professionalism.

Package Rates: 5 lessons, 60-day expiry

30 minutes: $55 per lesson ($275 total)
45 minutes: $78 per lesson ($390 total)
60 minutes: $100 per lesson ($500 total)

All 5 lessons must be used within a 60 day period.

Elena Ross offers piano and composition lessons in Collingwood, VIC. Lessons are taught on a Cramer London upright piano, Yamaha Motif XS6 and Komplete Kontrol A61 connected via MIDI to Cubase Pro 15. Virtual instruments are available including Spectrasonics Omnisphere & Kontakt. 

Her studio also includes an Accordion, Melodica, Violin, Cello, Acoustic & Electric Guitars, and a wide array of different cultural percussion instruments from around the world.
