Konstantin Glouzman is a Russian trained jazz and classical pianist and music educator with more than 30 years piano teaching experience.
Studying piano from the age of six, Konstantin completed a Master's degree in jazz and classical piano at the Rostov on Don State Conservatorium, Russia in 1990. He has since been active as a performer, composer and music educator at various institutions in both Europe and Australia. Konstantin was former Head of Jazz at the MITRO Institute in Moscow, and has been a full time stage performer for many years. He has performed at several international jazz festivals, including the Melbourne International Jazz Festival, as well as in Russia, Italy, Ukraine, and others. Lessons with Konstantin are tailored to the student’s individual needs and include music theory, music history, technical work and sight-reading. As well as teaching classical repertoire, Konstantin teaches a wide spectrum of genres, including jazz and contemporary. He also enjoys supporting students to prepare for AMEB examinations at all levels. Konstantin is passionate about the role of music in everyday life and sharing his diverse experience and passion with his students.
