Sam Colcheedas is an accomplished pianist and music educator with 7 years piano teaching experience. He is resident pianist with the South Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and maintains a busy performance and teaching schedule.

Commencing piano lessons at the age of 8, Sam found his passion for classical music and has since developed a large repertoire including complex works by many well known composers such as Liszt and Rachmaninov. He has completed his AMusA and continues his musical development under the guidance of renowned pianist Caroline Almonte at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. Sam is a registered music teacher with the Victorian Music Teachers Association. 

​While foremost a concert pianist, Sam also works extensively with ensembles and in piano duos in Melbourne. He has performed in masterclasses with esteemed pianists such as Donna Coleman, Professor Ian Holtham and Igor Machlak among others.

Piano Tuition Fees with Sam:
$45 for 30 minutes
$65 for 45 minutes
$80 for 60 minutes

Above fees are for weekly lessons by the school term. Casual lessons are available on a pay-as-you-go basis for an additional $5 per lesson and can be booked online. Fees include GST.

Sam's piano studio is located at 262 Mckean Street Fitzroy North 3068. Sam teaches on a Yamaha C5 Grand Piano and Kawai K3 Upright Piano. He also hosts recitals and AMEB Examination Preparation workshops at his studio throughout the year.
