Angela Un is an accomplished pianist and musician who offers piano lessons to students of all ages at her studio in Camberwell. Please note Angela is accepting new students for 2025 and is not available for new students in 2024. For lessons in 2024 we have availability at the Melbourne Piano School Hawthorn studio.
Angela’s musical talent and discipline began at the age of 5. Under the tutelage and guidance of esteemed pianists Majella Drew, Olga Kharitonova and Igor Machlak, Angela performed and competed at numerous piano eisteddfods, completed all AMEB exams with High Distinctions and achieved the Diploma in the Associate in Music (AMusA) and Licentiate in Music (LMusA). Having grown up with a deep understanding and appreciation for music, Angela is passionate about passing on her musical knowledge and skills. Working as a piano teacher since 2018, Angela has experience with helping students towards AMEB exams and also finding an individual and flexible approach to suit any needs. During lessons she focuses on developing rhythm, technique and musicality, taking great care in supporting one’s individual musical growth and tailoring lessons based on goals and strengths. With a patient, encouraging and friendly personality, Angela is able to build a strong and trusting relationship with young children, having taught students of varying ages and levels. Angela specialises in teaching piano to children, teenagers and adults at the beginner and intermediate levels, whether it be preparing for examinations, performances or simply for fun. She offers piano lessons in Camberwell VIC 3124 at her home studio, teaching on Yamaha upright piano.
