OUR Inner North Piano TEACHERS

We have an outstanding team of piano teachers in Melbourne's Inner North offering piano lessons to students of all ages and abilities. Currently Shane Rohde in Collingwood is fully booked, but the following teachers have availability:

Charlotte Roberts - Fitzroy

A classically trained pianist and experienced music educator, Charlotte offers piano lessons from her home studio in Fitzroy. She is a regular performer and is currently completing her Bachelor of Music at the University of Melbourne.


Benjamin Roberts - In home lessons

Ben has recently joined our team and is available for in-home piano lessons in Ivanhoe and throughout the inner north. He is a classically trained pianist who is passionate about piano teaching. Ben is based in Thornbury and travels around the inner north to offer in-home lessons.

James Gales - In Home lessons (currently full)

James is a popular and experienced piano teacher who has been working as a music educator since 2015. He graduated from Melbourne Conservatorium in 2016, receiving First Class Honours under the tutelage of Professor Ian Holtham.


Miles Brennan - Brunswick

Miles Brennan is a professional jazz, contemporary and electronic musician teaching all skill levels from complete beginners to experienced pianists.


Ezequiel Balesca - Coburg

Ezequiel Balseca is an esteemed jazz musician from South America with many years of international training and performance experience. Now based in Melbourne's inner north, he offers jazz and classical piano lessons from his studio in Coburg.

Piano tuition fees vary by teacher and location, but in general our current fees are:

Piano Tuition Fees
30 minutes - $50
45 minutes - $70
60 minutes - $90

Based on weekly lessons, paid by the term. Casual lessons may be offered dependent on availability and are and additional $5 per lesson. 

Note that for teachers with a higher level of education or experience tuition fees may be higher. The current tuition fees are listed on the profile page for each teacher. 

In-home lessons are an additional $5 per lesson to cover travel expenses.
