Aisha Bowker is an accomplished pianist and musician with a passion for music education. She offers piano lessons at her studio in Burwood.
Aisha began her musical journey on piano at the age of 6. With the guidance of teachers and esteemed pianists Robert Chamberlain and Olga Kharitonova, Aisha has worked towards both performance and examination goals, completing her Certificate of Performance with Honours in 2022. Currently completing tertiary studies in piano, Aisha is committed to refining her skills as a pianist and passing her knowledge and experience on to a new generation of pianists. Having commenced teaching in 2019, Aisha is experienced working with beginner and intermediate students and enjoys teaching the fundamentals of piano playing as well as supporting students with AMEB exam preparation. Lessons comprise of learning piano technique, focusing on theoretical knowledge, and developing musicality. She teaches with an understanding of the largely different needs of students learning the piano and tailors lessons to suit the learners’ goals and abilities. Having worked mostly with children, Aisha is knowledgeable on working with and fostering their love for piano, building trusting and caring relationships to assist students in working towards realizing their full potential. Aisha offers piano lessons in Burwood VIC 3125, with lessons conducted on an upright Yamaha piano. She is able to conduct in-home lessons for students in Burwood and surrounding suburbs. Aisha specialises in teaching kids and teenagers at a beginner to intermediate level, placing a focus on playing for enjoyment while also working towards exams and performances.
