Carol Fong is a VIT registered teacher with decades of experience teaching music to students of all ages. Studying piano from a young age shaped her life by developing her love of music and laying the foundation to pursue music education professionally. Carol completed a B.Ed and B.Mus in Music Education in Canada. She played piano competitively as a student and established teaching studios in both Canada and Australia. Many years working in early childhood education has ignited Carol’s passion for working with young musicians. Adult learners returning to music lessons or trying out a new instrument have also found a supportive environment to build on their musical foundation. Carol works with early beginner, beginner, and intermediate students to develop fundamentals, musicality, technique, and music theory through a range of styles to meet the goals of the individual. Guiding young learners to develop routines, independence and skills for effective practising is an equally important part of her lessons. Carol’s teaching experience includes teaching students with disabilities in the classroom. She is happy to creatively meet the needs of individual students whenever possible. Qualifications: Bachelor of Education Bachelor of Music Eduction Piano Tuition Fees: 30 minutes - $40 45 minutes - $55 60 minutes - $70 When 2 students from the same household schedule lessons consecutively, a discount is offered. (Fee for two consecutive 30 min lessons is $75). |
