Djina Perazic, Pianist & Music Educator
Djina Perazic is a highly accomplished classically trained pianist offering piano lessons at her studio in St Kilda. She holds a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Music both focusing on piano performance and pedagogy.
Djina started playing the piano at six years old, surrounded by a family of musicians. She has always been influenced by great pianists and music educators, and with the support of her parents, decided to pursue the same path. After completing a high school education specialising in classical music, Djina enrolled in a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich, Germany. There she had the opportunity not only to refine her piano performance skills, but also to deepen her knowledge and experience in piano pedagogy. Following graduation she pursued Masters level studies in piano pedagogy, also at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich. She had the opportunity to further expand her pianistic repertoire, teaching experience and pedagogical knowledge. She completed her Master of Music in 2022 achieving the highest mark at her graduation recital. Alongside her studies, Djina also taught piano privately to children and adults, as well as at various music schools in Germany. As a part of the degree curriculum, she completed an internship at a State Music School in Munich. In addition to solo performing and teaching, Djina is also passionate about playing chamber music. She has performed with many different instrumentalists within different chamber music ensembles including collaborations with violinists Alexandra Hauser and Luka Perazic. Djina’s teaching style is shaped by many influences. She approaches every student individually, adapting her methods to fit their personalities and goals. She strives to inspire through music, so it can enrich their day-to-day life. As well as working on pieces, she also integrates musical improvisation into her lessons. Djina is able to teach piano students of all levels and ages. She offers lessons in English, German and Montenegrin/Serbian/Croatian. Piano Tuition Fees: 30 minutes - $50 45 minutes - $70 60 minutes - $90 Above fees are for ongoing weekly lessons, paid in advance by the term. Casual lessons may be offered dependent on availability and fees are an additional $7.50 per lesson. Djina teaches on a Roland HP704CH professional digital piano from her home studio at 170 St Kilda Rd, St Kilda.
