Sophie Nguyen is a gifted pianist and music educator based in West Footscray. Having learned and performed on the piano for more than 10 years, she is dedicated to sharing her knowledge and passion for music. Sophie believes learning the piano can be fun and enriching for everyone. In 2018 Sophie achieved a High Distinction for her Certificate of Performance in Piano and the following year received her Associate in Music (AmusA). She is currently completing her Diploma of Music whilst studying at the University of Melbourne. Sophie has attended masterclasses with highly respected piano educators / composers such as Sonny Chua, Glen Riddle, Kenji Fujimara and Christopher Norton. Having performed in piano trios and quintets, she finds collaborative musicianship the most enjoyable experience of piano playing. Sophie frequently performs at weddings and formal events in duos and trios. Whether it be exploring a new hobby or learning a particular piece; Sophie is there to guide and support you in your piano aspirations. Her teaching style focuses on understanding the fundamentals of music and building technique. She nurtures the learning needs of each student and will adapt to ensure a positive and effective experience. Sophie offers piano lessons for all ages and skill levels at her West Footscray piano studio. Music Qualifications:
