Piano lessons are now available with Darina Chakarova and Andy Harrison at our new studio location in the heart of Fitzroy at 1/62 Rose St. We are located inside the Melbourne School of Classical Dance. All ages and abilities welcome.
Darina is a passionate pianist, singer, choral conductor and music educator with 10 years piano teaching experience. She graduated from the National School of Music (Bulgaria) majoring in piano, and also holds a Master's in Choral Conducting. While classically trained, Darina has experience performing and teaching contemporary, jazz, and pop piano as well. Andy is founder of Melbourne Piano School and is a passionate pianist with a special interest in neo-classical music. He studied classical piano in Canada from the age of 7, completing Grade 9 Piano with the Royal Conservatory of Music. He is currently available in Fitzroy for piano lessons on a casual basis. Andy enjoys the diversity of working with students of all ages, offering a creative and personalised approach to learning piano. 2016 Piano Tuition Fees in Fitzroy 30 minutes - $44 45 minutes - $65 60 minutes - $85 (For weekly lessons, paid one term in advance) Casual lessons may be offered dependent on availability.
