Andhika Patrick is an Australian Indonesian concert pianist based in Melbourne. She now offers piano lessons from her studio in Doncaster and online to advanced and beginner level students alike.
After winning numerous piano competitions in South East Asia, Andhika was offered a place in the Bachelor of Music program at Monash University before she graduated from high school. She completed her Bachelor of Music with First Class Honours and her Master of Music in Piano Performance at Monash University. During this time she participated in masterclasses with esteemed pianists such as Yuri Rozum (Russia), Boris Berezovsky, Alfred Brendel, Jean-Efflam Bavouzet, Gwen Mok and Graham Fitch. Her music training is influenced by a mix of Russian techniques, modern American Golden Era and French techniques with lineage to Debussy and Ravel from her past 2 teachers. Andhika's performances range from solo, chamber, with orchestra, accompaniment and collaborative works to premiering works by neoclassical composers around the world in Australia, New Zealand, Austria, Germany, UK and Asia. Her Debut Album, released in May 2022, is entitled "The French Connection" and features virtuosic works by Ravel (La Valse solo piano), Debussy (L'Isle Joyeuse) and Godowsky's transcriptions. It has been streamed over 1.5 million times across digital platforms. Her latest EP "From our Home To Yours : Chopin" was recorded live at Iwaki ABC Southbank Melbourne in late January 2023 and was broadcasted by 3MBS Radio. After returning from her "French Connection" international tour in late February 2023, Andhika maintains a busy teaching schedule to piano students from around the world. She is currently working on her second Album "The Viennese Connection" which will feature virtuosic transcriptions of Strauss by Schulz-Evler, Godowsky and Cziffra. Andhika accepts students at all levels, for leisure or for serious study. Her students have achieved high scores in ABRSM exams and have won piano competitions worldwide. Beginner to Grade 3 30 minutes - $50 45 minutes - $70 60 minutes - $90 Grades 4 - 6 30 minutes - $60 45 minutes - $80 60 minutes - $100 Grades 7+ 30 minutes - $70 45 minutes - $95 60 minutes - $125 Listed fees are for ongoing weekly lessons, paid in advance by the term. Casual lessons may be offered dependent on availability and fees are an additional $7.50 per lesson. |
