Connor Taylor - Composer & Pianist

Connor Taylor is currently only available for piano performance. He is not taking on any new students at this time. We are currently seeking a new teacher in the area and will update this page once we have someone confirmed. Please view our other available teachers here. 


Connor is a pianist & composer with 14 years piano teaching experience. While classically trained, Connor teaches a wide variety of styles including classical, jazz and contemporary.

Connor has completed a Master of Music (Performance Teaching) as well as a Bachelor of Music at Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. He was awarded his AMusA on piano in 2004 and continues to pursue music in a range of contexts and styles including improvisation and composition.  Connor is currently studying a Master of Teaching (Secondary) and holds full registration with the Victorian Music Teachers Association. 

As a freelance musician, Connor has provided entertainment at Government House on Australia Day for the past 6 years as well as playing at weddings, gala dinners and fundraisers.  As a music educator he has been working privately and in primary and secondary schools for 14 years teaching piano lessons, music theory, and composition to students of all ages.

​He thoroughly enjoys connecting with students and is passionate about empowering people to achieve their personal goals. In particular, Connor believes that understanding individual learning styles and tailoring teaching methods to each student is vital in their engagement and progress. His teaching philosophy is student-centered and holistic, extending learning through foundational concepts of music.

45 mins - $60
60 mins - $80

In home lessons are available in the local area.
An additional $20 travel fee applies.


Connor teaches at his piano studio in Wollert, near Epping and Craigieburn. Piano lessons are taught on a Yamaha C3 grand piano.
Connor teaches in Wollert, and is also available for performance bookings and in-home lessons.
