Linh Doan, Piano Teacher

Piano lessons for all ages and abilities are available with Linh Doan at our studio at 75 Reid St, Fitzroy North.
 
​Linh Doan is an award winning piano teacher currently completing a Master of Teaching Performance at The University of Melbourne. She started her training in piano with Ms. Huong Hoang at the age of 4 in Vietnam and studied for 13 years at the Vietnam National Academy of Music. Graduating with distinction, she received a scholarship to study at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts (AMPA), Sydney where she later completed her Bachelor in Music Performance.

During her time in Sydney, she taught at several music schools, and mentored numerous students in their AMEB piano exams. Returning to Vietnam, she worked at the Vietnam Academy of Music as a piano teacher and piano accompanist. Linh also taught at the United Nations International School in Hanoi, and later opened her own music studio. She received a Trinity College Award for supporting the students who achieved the highest Trinity exam results in 2015 and 2016.

In late 2016, she received a scholarship to study piano performance for 9 months with Prof. Duffek Mihaly at the University of Debrecen, Hungary. In 2017-2018, three of her students attended international piano competitions in Rome, Vienna, and New York, achieving 1st and 2nd prize. Linh will receive a diploma for her excellence in teaching music from the American Protege International Competition in June 2018 at Carnegie Hall, New York.

45 minutes - $70
60 minutes - $90

Discounted Piano Tuition Fees are available:
Full-Time Secondary or Tertiary Students - 10%
Family discount available for enrolling 2 or more students - 10% off second lesson

Payment plans are available on request.
Casual lessons may be offered dependent on availability.
