Kristen Steele offers piano lessons at her studio in Hawthorn, Vic. She has been trained by esteemed classical pianists and examiners Abe Cytrynowski and Elizabeth Mitchell and has achieved her AMusA from the Australian Music Examinations Board. Believing that playing the piano extends far beyond the music on the page, Kristen Steele encourages beginners and intermediates of all ages whether beginning or rekindling a past love of the piano. Every pianist has their own personal goals. These goals may be highly structured for specific AMEB or ANZCA examinations and performance, or simply to relax and play for well-being and self enjoyment. Perhaps you want to try something new, to stretch your mind or to finally learn how to read music and gain a general knowledge of piano, classical music and other genres. Regardless of your musical background, your individual goals will be explored, encouraged and enjoyed. Kristen specialises in teaching piano to children and adults at the beginner and intermediate levels.
