Ian Mercado is a Melbourne-based pianist and music educator, offering piano lessons for all ages and abilities at his studio in Mernda, VIC. Ian is a classically trained pianist who began learning piano at the age of nine where he quickly fostered a passion and love for music. With six years of teaching experience, he has welcomed many students into the world of music and has guided many more through their musical endeavours. With a focus on artistic excellence and cultivating technical mastery to accompany it, Ian mentors students through examinations, competitions and in musical fulfilment. Through his studies at the University of Melbourne under the tutelage of esteemed pianists Olga Kharitonova and Benjamin Martin, Ian has expanded his musical knowledge and refined his skills to a high level. In 2019, he graduated with a Bachelor of Music Performance (Honours) and was awarded the Maude Harrington Prize. Ian enjoys working with students of all ages, skills and goals. Piano Tuition Fees with Ian
$44 for 30 minutes $60 for 45 minutes $75 for 60 minutes In-Home Piano Tuition Fees with Ian $50 for 30 minutes $70 for 45 minutes $90 for 60 minutes Above fees are for weekly lessons paid in advance by the month or by the term. Casual lessons are available on a pay-as-you-go basis for an additional $5 per lesson. Fees include GST. |
